Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros: Book Review 📖

Violet is still training at the War college but there is no more time to learn but do. War is almost at their front door and she has to go on multiple missions to bring allies. One of these allies she hopes to find is Andarnas kind. She has a lot on her shoulders to save her dragon, friends and even Xaden. They need an army. They need power. They need magic. And they need the one thing only Violet can find—the truth.

This book had me on my toes and flowed well with the other books. I loved the many quests/adventures they went on and that Violet was in charge of who went. Violet had a big determination to solve the issues of getting an alliance and for Andarna to find where she came from. She believes that finding Andarnas kind will result in them helping them with the war and to put the wards up. I was shocked when Xaden would draw from the ground and risk turning evil just to protect Violet and the ending was shocking (not going to give it away). I love this series and I cant wait for the 4th but I hear she isn't going to write it for awhile.
