In Good Company by Kat Singletong: Book Review 📖

Book Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

            🌶️🌶️

OMG, can I please have a guy who is obsessed with me like Cal is for Lucy. The banter in this book was amazing and I loved the dynamic. I love food, and Lucy being a chef and loving food drew me in too.

What it's about:

Lucy’s dream job is to be a chef but she only has one summer to live that dream in the Hamptons before needing to return back to her hometown to take over her family’s store. One night when catering a dinner, she runs into her ex-boyfriend’s older brother, Callahan. She doesn’t know him other than seeing him in passing, but when they both lay eyes on each other they’re intrigued. Cal isn’t used to being told no so when he finds out Lucy is looking for a personal chef job for the summer and when he offers she says no, he’s determined to get her to accept his offer. Eventually, Lucy realizes the opportunity is too good to turn down and accepts. Suddenly they are sharing small moments in the kitchen and dinners together enjoying the incredible food Lucy has made. They are both tempted to explore the feelings developing between them, but with the expiration date on Lucy’s time in the Hamptons, they’re both scared that broken hearts could be in their futures.
