Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton: Book Review 📖
Book Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Omg, this book was so good, but terrifyingly good. OMG, I love Zade, but he also terrifies me, but the way he obsesses over Addie is addictive. I love how Addie lives in her grandmother's haunted house and how she slowly learns to not be afraid and becomes ballsy. Zade is unhinged in a way that’s both terrifying and… intriguing. Adeline is the definition of haunted. And their cat-and-mouse energy. Absolutely feral.
ABOUT: She is characterized as the master of manipulation, but I didn't think so at all. All control was held in the book by him, the Shadow, who followed her at every step. A character that I felt was not built so well, with a lot of lack of information about his actions, past, and feelings, considering him a mentally ill character, really dumb at some phases.
